We recommend using smaller rollers at the nape of the neck, and larger ones on the top of your head. This is for a few reasons - The warmth at the base of your head will cause those lower curls to drop faster, so you want a tighter curl there to help build the structure of your style, whereas the top of your head is generally where you want the smoothest shape, and the larger curls will help with that.
